5 Ways with Rustico Sauce Mix

Rustico e’ Olio
All the benefits of a flavourful tomato sauce without the simmering…and OK, no tomatoes. Weird, but true! Simply blend spoonfulls of Rustico Sauce Mix with olive oil for a speedy, no-cook pasta sauce. Keep it simple – toss with noodles and stir in any leftover vegetables or cooked meat. See, that was easy!

Use prepared Rustico Sauce as a starter base for soup. For streamlined minestrone, simmer prepared Rustico Sauce with a can of cannellini beans and an interesting mix of fresh or frozen vegetables. Minestrone is a kitchen-sink type of soup – so check your fridge for hidden “goodies” to use up.
